With the arrival of the Ordinals protocol, Justin Aversano registers a series of 136 prints of his iconic photograph ” Colin in the Car ” on Bitcoin (sub100k registrations #42,546 to #45,200). Taken in 2015 in New York, this medium-format work embodies the artist’s transition to a more introspective exploration of the image. With this collection on Ordinals, Justin Aversano fuses the authenticity of silver photography with the immutability of the Bitcoin blockchain.
